Need a study break during finals? Join us outside Classroom 1 for three afternoons of creative, low-stress activities designed to help you recharge.

What happens when cubing meets the Library’s digital collections? 🎲🧩

In winter and spring quarter 2026, the Library partnered with the Rubik’s Cube Club () to transform images from our digital collections into large-scale mosaic art installations, now on display at WongAvery Library. Using hundreds of Rubik’s cubes (thank you ), students, faculty, staff and the general public worked together to recreate an image of Geisel Library and the Colima Dog in Santa Rosalía.

Join us for an evening with artist DeLoss McGraw and acclaimed San Diego art critic, historian and educator Bob Pincus as they share insights into the exhibition DeLoss McGraw: Painter-Poet, currently on view at Geisel Library for a limited time.
