We are proud to announce the promotions of Deputy Fire Chief Edward Martin to Fire Chief and Captain Greg Terrill to Deputy Fire Chief. A badge pinning was held during last night’s City Council meeting. Both Chiefs are retired LAFD and share the same vision as it pertains to the direction of the fire department. We are excited for what’s ahead for LHHFD and the community we serve!

Fireworks & Parking Violation Reporting is Available from 5 PM to 12 AM on July 4th.

Independence Day is a time for celebration, but in La Habra Heights, all fireworks, including those labeled as "safe and sane," ie: sparklers, smoke balls, and ground spinning fireworks, are prohibited. Due to the high fire risk and the rural nature of our community, it is against the law to light, sell, or possess fireworks within the city limits.

LA County Sheriff and La Habra Heights Fire will have extra patrols throughout the city on July 4th and may confiscate fireworks and issue citations to those in violation. Additionally, there is no parking allowed within the city for fireworks viewing. Please avoid stopping or blocking roadways, as this could delay emergency responders in case of an urgent situation.

To report illegal fireworks or parking, call 562-694-6302 (ext. 0) and be prepared to give an address of the violation and a detailed description of the individual(s) involved if possible, or use the Fireworks and Parking Violation Reporting Form for faster service. https://www.lhhcity.org/FormCenter/General-Forms-9/Report-Fireworks-64

Call 9-1-1 for emergencies only.

Let's work together to protect our community by celebrating responsibly and without fireworks.
