La Grange Main Street

La Grange Main Street La Grange Main Street works to promote downtown La Grange’s amazing attractions, festivals, and (of course) shopping & tasty treats!!

We work with many active volunteers to plan fun and exciting events in order to promote our city and its historic downtown area. We enthusiastically encourage our visitors and citizens to learn more about both our city’s present and past through our Facebook posts, Pinterest pins, and Instagram photos. We encourage everyone to enjoy the time they spend in our town and to visit, live it, and love it the way we do! Main Street uses a combination of economic development, infrastructure improvements, promotions and a cooperative effort that seeks to revitalize downtown areas. The Texas Historical Commission administers the Texas Main Street Program and designated La Grange as a Main Street city in January of 1996. Simply put, our local Main Street program is here to help out the community of La Grange through historic preservation efforts and promoting the city through downtown events.
