Calling all Scouts! We are looking for volunteers to help us march in the River Forest Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25th. This is a powerful tradition to honor our U.S. Armed Forces and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

🎖️ When: Monday, May 25 | Meet at 8:30 AM
📍 Where: The parade kicks off at Augusta St & Ashland Ave.
🌭 Bonus: Stick around for the ceremony and a FREE hotdog lunch at Keystone Park afterward!

𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹. 🇺🇸

Last week, Scouting America delivered its annual Report to the Nation in Washington, D.C., meeting with elected leaders to highlight the impact Scouting is having on young people across the country.

𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝟵𝟬𝟴,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. Also, that year, Scouts earned 1.3 million merit badges and 27,718 earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
