With helping hands and joyful hearts, they planted seeds and vegetables that will grow into fresh, nourishing food for those in need. 💚

The Genesis Garden is a special initiative dedicated to improving community health by providing access to fresh produce, encouraging wellness, and supporting local families. It serves as a living example of how small acts—like planting a seed—can grow into something that truly makes a difference.

PROJECT GUILD & OLDHAM COUNTY DAY

The Project Guild Of La Grange, Inc. was founded in August, 1964, with fourteen young homemakers as charter members. The original purpose of the organization was to better enable its members to serve as assets to each other and to the community in which they lived. Since 1971, Project Guild has hosted Oldham County Day. This event is an annual opportunity held in July to celebrate community pride, to provide fun for all ages,a traditional reunion for friends and family, and a source of income for local charities and service organizations.

Project Guild returns proceeds from Oldham County Day and other endeavors to the community through support for local resources. Project Guild has seen many changes in its history. Membership today includes women of all ages, career women as well as homemakers, but the purpose remains the same… To make Oldham County a better place in which to live!
