Thank you to Pastor Hank Jarman and Wheat Swamp Christian Church for hosting a baccalaureate service for the Class of 2026 this evening. The graduates and guests in attendance heard a wonderful message from Pastor Dennis Peay from Westminster United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Jones’s English classes wrapped up the year by putting their creativity to work on literary-themed ceiling tiles! After submitting their final papers, students enjoyed a well-earned opportunity to showcase their artistic talents while celebrating the books, characters, and themes they explored throughout the year.

North Lenoir Athletics continue the year with 6 athletes making the East
Teams for the BODYARMOR State Games representing 3 different sports
for North Lenoir High School. This is the first year in school history to have
3 sports represented, and the first ever for Women’s Soccer.

North Lenoir Baseball will be represented by rising Senior - Blayden Pridgen, rising Junior - Daniel Boyette and rising Sophomore - Mason Murphy. Also representing the Hawks Baseball team is North Lenoir Head Coach, Cam Sherrer. Sherrer will be the Head Coach for the Region 2 team at this year’s State Games.

Also making the East Team for Men's Soccer was rising Juniors Evan
Smith and Adam Romig. Evan Smith is a captain and standout Goalie for
North Lenoir. Adam Romig is a starting center back for North Lenoir.

Finally representing women’s soccer team is rising Senior Riley Evans,
Riley Evans is a 2 year captain, leading assist and goal scorer for the lady
Hawks.

Congratulations to these athletes and Coach Sherrer for representing North Lenoir High School in the 2026 BODYARMOR State Games. The soccer games will be played in Greensboro, NC @ Armfield Athletic Center, at Guilford College on June 27-28. Baseball games will be played at First National Bank Field, Truist Point Stadium and UNCG Greensboro on June 15-19. GOOD LUCK HAWKS!
