Here is the list of local candidates for the 2026 General election. The three (3) available seats for Supervisors of Oldham County Conservation District have been filled by Ezii Oguibe-Shepherd, Kristopher Kelley and Kelli Weakly.

Effective immediately, the Juvenile Diabetes specialty plate (JDRF) has been discontinued and is no longer available for issuance or renewal. Any customer that currently has a JDRF plate and comes in to renew will need to select and purchase a different plate, as these plates can no longer be renewed.

Updated candidate list for cities and school boards. Filing deadline is June 2nd at 4PM.

Here are the candidates that have filed as of 2PM today for city councils. There have not been any filings for school board or conservation district at this time. The filing deadline is June 2, 2026.

Edit: The top 15 candidates from the City of LaGrange will move on to the General Election as well. Andrew Dunk withdrew from the race the day after the election which narrows the field from 16 to 15.

In the coming days, you may receive an unsolicited mailing related to voter registration. This is NOT from election administrators at either the state or local level and may be ignored.
The Voter Participation Center and Center for Voter Information, sister non-profit organizations, are partisan-leaning entities that regularly conduct get-out-the-vote campaigns. These are often confusing to voters, as mailers such as the ones put in the mail this week contain voter information that may be incorrect or may imply that a voter is not registered when, in fact, they already are.
If you receive a mailer from either organization, please disregard; it is not official election mail. Of course, if you have questions, feel free to call our office at 502-222-0047.
