Eastern Oregon University is proud to celebrate three Spring 2026 graduates whose journeys reflect resilience, community, culture, and Mountaineer spirit.
Madelynn Sturm, of Union, Oregon, will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in History and a minor in Native American Studies. During her time at EOU, Madelynn was named History Student of the Year in 2023 and was accepted into Washington State University’s history graduate program with full funding.
Line Kilma, from the Marshall Islands, will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Line is proud to have helped share Marshallese culture through the Island Magic event and hopes her journey inspires other Pacific Islander students to keep going, even when the path feels difficult.
Dillon George, from the Marshall Islands, will graduate with a degree in English/Writing. As a COFA student, Dillon is proud of sharing his culture at EOU and says his time on campus has been a transformative journey of growth and discovery.
Each of these students has helped make EOU a richer, more connected community. Congratulations, Madelynn, Line, and Dillon!
