Dear EOU Community and Neighbors,

Out of an abundance of caution and concern for the health and well-being of our dedicated volunteers, EOU has made the decision to withdraw our float from today’s parade due to the dangerous air quality index

We want to express our gratitude to the Union County Fair Board and the Union County Extension Office for their work and dedication in bringing our county together every year. We are grateful for their effort in organizing this annual community event.

To Union County and our Mountaineer Nation: thank you for your continued support. We encourage everyone to take precautions, monitor local health guidelines, and stay safe under these air quality conditions today.

Go Mountaineers!
