April 9: Net Neutrality In-District Day of Action

On April 9, people across the country are dropping by their local representatives' offices to tell them to defend the FCC's Net Neutrality rules.

Dropping by during the Congressional recess is a simple and effective way for constituents to share their voices with members of Congress. And you'll be part of a wave of visits happening in cities and towns across the country.

In-person actions have been one of our most powerful and effective tactics throughout the fight for real Net Neutrality.

We've changed our name from Occupy La Grande to Occupy Union County to reflect our solidarity with folks throughout our area!

A few weeks ago about a dozen of us came together for an "Occupy Think Tank" to discuss occupy organizing and economic justice strategies for Union County and rural Oregon.

On Thursday, March 8th we are gathering again to talk through the initial ideas generated and develop some next steps for Occupy Union County. Please join us!
