⚠️ Important Notice: Salvation Army La Grande Temporarily Closed

The Salvation Army food pantry in La Grande is currently closed while their sidewalk railing is being replaced. We know many in our community rely on this resource, and we want to make sure no one goes without.

The good news? There are other food pantries available in Union County to help bridge the gap while Salvation Army completes their repairs. 🙏

Elkhorn Media Group and MJ Goss Motors have teamed up once again for our annual Community Food Drive and we have a pop-up donation event happening this week!

Just look for the Goss Motors pickup with the food-drive banners! And drop off your donations in the bed of the truck!

No donation is too small, and every contribution stays right here in our community.

🧡🦃 A Heartfelt Thank You to Safeway & Safeway Shoppers! 🦃🧡

The Northeast Oregon Regional Food Bank wishes to extend our deepest gratitude to Safeway and all the incredible Safeway shoppers who donated through the Turkey Bucks program.

With the help of dedicated Safeway volunteers and the amazing La Grande Girls Wrestling Team, we were able to serve 172 families a complete Thanksgiving meal today! 🙌

That’s a total of 620 people who will enjoy a warm holiday dinner and a little extra cheer this season, all thanks to the generosity of our community. 💛

Thank you for making a real difference for families in need. Your kindness shines brightly this Thanksgiving. 🥧✨

🦃💙 The Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Nursing students from the La Grande campus showed up again this year with lots of energy to help us build Turkey Bucks orders for Baker, Union, and Wallowa Counties. Overall, they moved 10,400lbs of turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, and rolls in just an hour and a half! 💪📦

✨ Thank you nursing students and Safeway & Albertson's shoppers for this incredible gift. 670 turkey meals will be shared with our neighbors in need thanks to your giving! ✨
