🍎 One in six people in Northeast Oregon face food insecurity. One in six. 🍎

That is not a statistic from somewhere far away. That is our neighbors, our friends, and our community members right here in Baker, Grant, Union, and Wallowa Counties.

You may have recently received a mailer from us about the CCNO Regional Food Bank, and if you did, thank you so much for taking the time to read it. 💙

Our Regional Food Bank distributes food to 32 local food pantries, meal sites, and produce drops across Northeast Oregon, and we need your help to keep doing it. If you are able to make a donation, no matter the size, it makes a real and direct difference in the lives of people right here at home.

Those are the words of one of the people your donation supports. Real people in our community, people who have worked hard their whole lives, who sometimes find themselves having to choose between food and other necessities.

The CCNO Regional Food Bank serves Baker, Grant, Union, and Wallowa Counties, distributing food through 32 local food pantries, meal sites, and produce drops. This year we have served 17% more people than last year, but our food supply is down 154,000 pounds and we need your help to meet the rising need.

The Salvation Army in Baker City will be closed from June 22nd through July 6th, 2026. 🗓️

⚠️ Important Notice: Salvation Army La Grande Temporarily Closed

The Salvation Army food pantry in La Grande is currently closed while their sidewalk railing is being replaced. We know many in our community rely on this resource, and we want to make sure no one goes without.

The good news? There are other food pantries available in Union County to help bridge the gap while Salvation Army completes their repairs. 🙏

Elkhorn Media Group and MJ Goss Motors have teamed up once again for our annual Community Food Drive and we have a pop-up donation event happening this week!

Just look for the Goss Motors pickup with the food-drive banners! And drop off your donations in the bed of the truck!

No donation is too small, and every contribution stays right here in our community.
