The City of La Crosse has begun a one-time pass to collect remaining curb-side leaves. To ensure leaves are collected, please make sure to rake leaves into a clearly visible pile following the guidelines below. Crews are currently on the Northside and east of Losey Blvd. They will be working their way south until all zones are complete. A leaf collection map will not be available for this pass.

Placement guidelines to assist with collection:

• During leaf collection, place leaves on the boulevard, within 3 feet of the curb
line, and not into the street, gutter, or over catch basins. Leaves placed in the
street may restrict or plug storm drains in your area. For ordinance information,
see the City Municipal Code related to yard waste.
• Do not pile leaves around trees, poles, or behind parked cars.
• Collection does not coincide with your garbage/recycling collection schedule.
• Leaves that are bagged, covered, or mixed with brush will not be collected.
