Oehler Mill, Cave, Dam, and Cemetery In 1855, German immigrant brothers, Valentine and Gottfried Oehler, established Oehler's Mill. Accepted to the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

It is six miles south of La Crosse, WI, in Mormon Coulee in the Town of Shelby. Nickname: Oehler’s Mill/Oehler’s Cave
