The day so many, many of us have waited for. It's official!
Our boundaries are secured!

As noted in a previous post...please be patient with us as we navigate changing the name. Per State Statute ... in simple terminology...everything that was the Town's transfers to the village, aka "assumed" So if you see Town of Campbell ... just remind yourself we are Village of French Island!! We are cautious to the time, energy, funds being spend towards this.

Also! We are coming up on the first big act of a Village. Elect Village Board. 1 President, 6 Village Trustees.

Residents who are interested in taking papers to run for Village President or Village Board may file papers now but may not circulate until the first day which is May 26.
The deadline to turn in papers will be Friday, June 12.
