250 Years, 7 Counties, Endless Stories

Looking for a fun summer adventure? Try the 2026 WRLS Summer History Challenge!

This summer, weโ€™re celebrating 250 years of American history by exploring the stories right here in our own communities. Visit local historical markers, museums, parks, trails, and landmarks across the WRLS area, then learn more using books, movies, articles, or other library resources.

Complete any three challenges during the summer and turn in your entry form at your library for a chance to win prizes.

Itโ€™s a great excuse to take a road trip, discover somewhere new, or learn something surprising about the place you call home.

Stop by your library to pick up a game booklet and get started!
