Special Announcement from the Chair!

Greetings Everybody,

My name is Wyatt Molling and I am the chair of the La Crosse County Democratic Party.

I have an incredibly special announcement for all of you. The Crowley yard signs have arrived!

If you’d like to get yours, either sign up through the form linked below, call our office and reserve your own, or just stop on by during our office hours and pick one up.

Now, I know many of you are hesitant to put a sign in your yard. We hear, “yard signs don’t vote,” and we think, “yard signs don’t matter,” but that is far from the truth.

Yard signs are one of our greatest tools when it comes to showing enthusiasm and community. In all my years of going door-to-door I couldn’t believe how many people tell me, “I’m the only democrat in my neighborhood,” or, “there are no democrats out here,” when I’d just talked to their neighbors who are enthusiastically voting blue up and down the ballot. A simple yard sign can change that whole perception.

Democrats have a problem where we act like we’re ashamed to be who we are. We hide our support and so we begin to believe that we are alone. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

Why should we be afraid to support affordable health care, or funding public education, or getting dark money out of politics? The answer is, we shouldn’t. Stand for what you believe in and don’t let anyone tell you that you’re alone in believing it.

I know many people also wonder what to do with the signs once the election is over. We try to pick them up, but we always miss a few. You can also bring old signs into our office and we will take them.

Thank you to everyone who marched with us at yesterday's Labor Day Parade!

Democrats will continue to fight for all those who labor and continue to build this country up. It's long passed due that we get rid of the travesty that is Act 10, and then pass the Pro Act through Congress.

Some things to note about the bill that DVO supports:

-It doesn't ban stock trading
-Most federal politicians are exempt
-Does nothing to stop politicians from trading commodities, private investments, and crypto
-Only punishment for buying stocks would be a fine. No jail time or expulsion
-Never passed the Senate and is very, very unlikely to ever become law
-The Democratic alternative was significantly stornger and had more bipartisan support

So this "stock trading ban," is like most things DVO. All bark, no bite.

Oof, I guess all the "you betcha's" and old fashioneds aren't doing it for the Tiffany campaign. Maybe trying being honest about your record and running on the issues?

The results of the most recent poll, conducted in the days after the state's partisan primaries, were released on Wednesday.
