Looking for a fun way to give back to the community this Independence Day? Join the volunteer team for the Firecracker 4 Mile and Kids' Run benefiting the Children's Museum of La Crosse and The Parenting Place!

Volunteers help make race day a success by assisting with registration, packet pickup, course support, water stations, kids' race activities, and more. No experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and community spirit! Event organizers provide volunteer information and orientation before race day.

🐾💙 Ambassadors of Love Bring Smiles to the Children’s Museum! 💙🐾

The Coulee Region Humane Society’s Ambassadors of Love Pet Therapy Program and Buddy stopped by for a visit and totally understood the assignment.

Buddy got to meet some very good boys and girls, share lots of pets and cuddles, and learn about kindness, empathy, and caring for animals. The result: endless smiles, happy squeals, and a whole lot of serotonin without any slobber!

These furry ambassadors aren't just cute—they help create meaningful moments and remind us how powerful the human-animal connection can be.

Huge shoutout to our volunteers, therapy team, and the Children’s Museum staff for making this paws-itively wholesome day happen.

Set sail for creativity at the Children’s Museum! This week, young makers transform simple pool noodles into colorful floating boats. This hands-on craft combined art, engineering, and plenty of imagination as kids designed, built, and launched their own mini vessels.

A huge thank you to the team at Beer By Bike Brigade for welcoming us to co-host Bingo this past Wednesday!

While no one claimed the big $11,000 jackpot this week, the game continues, and we're hopeful a lucky winner will emerge soon!

In the meantime, the real victory is the opportunity to support local nonprofits and organizations that make a difference in our community. Through this event, proceeds benefited the Children's Museum of La Crosse and helped support its mission to provide a fun, hands-on space for the young—and the young at heart—to learn, connect, and grow through play.
