"The River in Our Veins - PSEMP"

This is a new short film that demonstrates the importance of documenting nearshore habitat, monitoring, and restoration to salmon, forage fish, and kelp!

To save our salmon, a network of Tribal, public, and private organizations are working together to study, monitor, and restore Puget Sound: Puget Sound Ecosystem Monitoring Program (PSEMP).

The Skagit River System Cooperative is partnering with the Stillaguamish Tribe to monitor restoration efforts in Port Susan Bay, helping track progress and guide future actions. This collaborative work supports healthier habitats for fish and wildlife while strengthening the resilience of this important estuarine ecosystem. Together, we’re advancing science-based restoration to sustain the natural resources that our communities depend on.
