🎓✨ What a year! ✨🎓

The Business & Technology Academy is wrapping up the school year on a massive high note, and we couldn’t be prouder of our students. Please join us in celebrating a huge milestone: 220 students have officially earned their industry-recognized certifications! 🏆Our students put in the hard work to get certified in three high-demand areas:

🎨 Digital Design (Photoshop & Illustrator)

💼 Entrepreneurship & Small Business

📋 Project Management (Our newest addition! This program helps students master vital soft skills like leadership and team communication within a structured, procedural industry).

Earning these certifications gives our students a major competitive edge as they step into entry-level careers and future opportunities.

Attention LHS Seniors (2026) who still need a concordant score and signed up for the June CLT testing dates. Email Mrs. Salinas to attend the CLT bootcamp to prepare for the test.
Any underclassmen who have also signed up for the CLT in June may also sign up to attend.

Dear LHS students and families, Today was the deadline to register for Fall 2026 Dual Enrollment classes with FSW. There will be no more "new students" accepted into dual enrollment over the Summer as Summer will be dedicated to preparing students who are currently registered for their Fall 2026 classes at both LHS and FSW.

If you are a prospective Dual Enrollment student, you may follow the "Additional Steps" listed below to begin the process. Stay tuned for our Fall Dual Enrollment night (TBD).
Any prospective students can begin meeting with Mrs. Salinas starting the week of August 17th, 2026 to be considered for Spring 2027 eligibility at FSW.

🏆 TEACHERS OF THE WEEK! 🏆
Let’s hear it for two absolute rockstars who keep our school running smoothly and our students thriving: Ms. Zimmerly and Mrs. Blackmon! 🌟
While they hold the title of School Counselors, they wear about a hundred different hats every single day. Most recently, they were the absolute backbone of our graduation ceremony, working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our seniors had the perfect send-off. 🎓✨
From navigating class schedules and future plans to providing a safe, supportive space for our students all year round, we truly couldn't do it without them.
