🏡 LOOKING BEHIND THE TAX BILL: A Community Town Hall Meeting

I’m excited to announce that, for the first time, the Hendry County Tax Collector’s Office will host Looking Behind the Tax Bill: Understanding Property Taxes in Hendry County.

📍 John Boy Auditorium

Our goal is simple: education and understanding. We’ll take a closer look at what makes up your property tax bill, the different entities involved in the property tax process, where your tax dollars go, and the pros and cons of proposed Amendment 3.

🗳️ I’m also pleased that Hendry County Supervisor of Elections, the Honorable Sherry Taylor, will join us. Her office will be available to assist with voter registration and answer questions related to voting and the upcoming election.

A special thank you to Lavita Holmes with Glades Lives Matter for her help in securing the John Boy Auditorium and supporting this opportunity to bring important information directly to our community. We truly appreciate the partnership!
