In a world where division can feel louder than connection, my library is my safe space. It’s a small wooden box on the corner, but to me, it represents so much more: faith in humanity, the belief that we can still come together through the simple act of sharing stories.
Books remind us that literature is bigger than politics. They carry history, imagination, love, and struggle across every page—and they connect us, even when we disagree. That’s why I hold onto my library so tightly. Each time someone takes a book, or leaves one behind, I see a quiet act of trust and generosity. It’s a cycle of giving.
Starting a library isn’t just about putting books on a shelf. It’s about building community, encouraging creativity, and making space for voices different than our own. Reading challenges us, expands us, and sometimes even heals us. And when we share that gift, we’re not just passing along a story—we’re creating a bridge.
My library is my small light in the world. It’s where I can pour in love, and watch others give back in return. It’s proof that no matter how different we are, we can still connect through words, imagination, and the simple joy of reading.
Because to read is to live with others. To create is to believe in possibility. And to share is to remind ourselves that we’re never truly alone.
