NOTICE FROM THE CITY OF LABELLE

The City of LaBelle is advising residents in the Bryan Ave. and Davis St. area of a Precautionary Boil Water Notice following a water main break.

πŸ”§ Water Service Interruption:
Water service was temporarily shut off on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. while City utility crews worked to repair the water main.

⚠️ IMPORTANT:
Residents in the affected area should bring water to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute before using it for:

πŸ’§ Drinking
🧊 Making ice
πŸͺ₯ Brushing teeth
🍲 Preparing food
🍼 Other consumption purposes

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until bacteriological testing confirms that the water is safe to drink. The City estimates the notice may remain in effect for up to 72 hours, but an exact rescission time cannot be provided at this time.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF AERIAL ADULT MOSQUITO TREATMENTS

Hendry County will be conducting aerial adult mosquito control operations over the Wheeler Estates community Friday, September 11th, 2026, weather permitting, through Tuesday, September 15th, 2026.

These operations will continue throughout the remainder of the year as mosquito levels warrant. The insecticide to treat for adult mosquitoes is approved for application by the Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Florida.

This operation will be conducted by Clarke.

If you have questions concerning this operation, please call Clarke at 800-443-2034 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
