🚨 A HUGE HORNET THANK YOU TO OUR L'ANSE FIRE DEPARTMENT! 🚒 👨‍🚒

We had such an exciting and educational visit today at The Hive! Our firefighters stopped by to teach our students all about fire safety, how to safely escape a fire, and the importance of having a family meeting spot at home.

The students loved getting a close-up look at the gear and equipment!

Thank you to the incredible crew at the L'Anse Fire Department for taking the time to teach our little Hornets how to stay safe and ready! 🐝 ❤️

KBIC Promise Neighborhoods brought in a guest speaker today for our 6th-12th grade students. Billy Mills is a Lakota Native American, and the only American to ever win the Olympic gold in the 10,000 meter race. His race made history with a dramatic come from behind win.

P.S...If you have time, you can google 1964 Olympic 10000m race, the black and white video is the original.

Thank you very much for including us today!

Help these lost items find their way home!

Chilly mornings mean jackets go to school... but warm afternoons mean they don't always make it home!

If your student is missing a sweater or hoodie, please have them check the Lost & Found this week.

📸 Take a look at the photos below—see anything that belongs to your house? Tell your student to grab it, and/or email or message your child's teacher to remind them
