The Kilauea Caverns of Fire are a unique set of caves that are part of the Kazumura Lava Tube System, the longest and deepest in the world. We are located just out of Kurtistown on the Hilo side of the Big Island. We offer two types of tours - the walking tour and the adventure tour. To make a reservation, please call: 1-808-217-2363

THE WALKING TOUR: The 1-hr walking tour can be enjoy

ed by anyone 5 years and up. You must be able to negotiate stairs and uneven terrain for this tour. Closed toe shoes are REQUIRED for this tour. THE ADVENTURE TOUR: The 3 hour adventure tour can be enjoyed by anyone 14 years and up. You MUST be able to climb a 30-ft ladder, 5-ft boulders, and briefly crawl beneath a 30-in ceiling.
