SRO James, along with Deputies Hunter and Yarnot, spent some time with students from a local elementary school!

Deputy Yarnot gave the group a drone demonstration, and the kids got an up-close look at one of our patrol vehicles and some of the equipment deputies use every day.

Our team got to spend some time with some awesome local preschoolers today!

The kids checked out our patrol vehicles, visited with deputies, and asked plenty of great questions. Before wrapping up the visit, our team got to hand out a few toys to the group.

Getting invited to spend time with local students is always a highlight of our day. Thanks for having us!

Detective Casey was greeting students as they arrived today, only to be asked for a “tour” of his police vehicle. This was the highlight of the day for a few students.

These numbers reflect activity of Kuna Police deputies — including both calls for service they responded to and proactive activity they initiated.

Citizen calls for service are generated through calls to Ada County Dispatch. Proactive activity is deputy initiated and can include things such as traffic stops, extra patrol, follow up investigations, and other self-initiated enforcement or prevention efforts.
