Forensic class mock crime continued.

10/26/2026

One of the forensic science classes arrested Mr. Schwartz for their mock crime scene on Wednesday. Unfortunately, they arrested the wrong person and the real criminal got away. Due to the holiday break (and very large bail amount), Mr. Schwartz was not released and did not get to enjoy his fall break.

A big thank you to all of the staff involved and to Lieutenant VanKley for helping with this mock crime scene scenario. Stay tuned tomorrow to see if the other forensic science class can correctly solve their case!

Today, members of our DECA chapter and the dual credit entrepreneurship class presented their weeks long Cotton T-Shirt Innovation project. The students were tasked with turning ordinary used T-shirts into a new viable product that they could scale and sell in the future. It was fun to see all of their personalities shine through their projects.

Both high school forensics classes started their mock crime scenes this week. Students will work to analyze the evidence they collected, interview suspects, and identify the killer of their victim. Each class has different evidence and suspects, so they will be solving two different cases!
