Attala County Library Welcome to YOUR Library! We hope that you will visit your library often and take advantage of the many services designed to meet the needs of all ages.

The Attala County Library provides services to the citizens of Attala County through the Attala County Board of Supervisors and the Kosciusko Mayor and Board of Alderman. Some of the services we provide are:

The Attala County Library offers many programs for children and adults throughout the year. These include story times, summer reading programs, cultural and educational programs, craft and collection displays, and monthly computer classes. The Attala County Library offers Genealogy Services. We have a collection of information on the history of Attala County as well as a family file collection, early Kosciusko and Attala County newspapers, and U.S. Census records of Mississippi. If you have any questions or comments please let us know. We want your library experience to be pleasant and productive!

Summer Library Programs are officially underway, and we’ve got an exciting week planned for all ages! 🦖🎨🎲🎬

Join us for several dinosaur-themed kids activities throughout the week, a teen pottery class on Friday, Bunco Night for the adults on Thursday evening, and a Family Movie Night on Friday night!

There’s truly something for everyone this week at the library — we can’t wait to see you there!

BREAKING: The dinosaurs have officially taken over the library. 🦖📚

Witnesses report a Carnotaurus stuck in the fiction aisle, velociraptors speed-reading Manga graphic novels, and a baby Ampelosaurus refusing to leave the children's section until story time is over.

Please remain calm, resume your normal reading schedule, and do not feed the prehistoric patrons. And remember that late fees have gone extinct. 😆

The summer library kickoff roared to life with The Dinosaur Experience bringing life-sized, interactive dinosaurs to the library! Families got up close with the dinos for a fun, energetic start to summer reading. Thank you to everyone who joined us for an amazing summer kick-off!

🖍 Tuesday at 2 PM – Creative Corners
🦖 Tuesday at 6 PM – Summer Program Kickoff Party: The Dinosaur Experience at the library!
🎨 Wednesday at 3:30 PM – Kids Creations
👶 Thursday at 10 AM – Toddler Takeover
🦕 Thursday at 6 PM – The MS Museum of Natural Science will be visiting with a special dinosaur program!
