The Howard County Health Department is holding TWO vaccine clinics focused on MMR vaccine to control the spread of measles. If you are unsure of your immunization status, contact us at 765-456-2408, option 1 for nursing 📞

These clinics are for individuals who are not yet considered immune to measles. Acceptable proof of immunity includes documentation of one or more of the following:
⭐ Written documentation of adequate vaccines for measles, mumps, and rubella
⭐ Laboratory confirmation of previous measles infection
⭐ Laboratory evidence of protective measles antibody titer
⭐ Birth before 1957

Did you know getting your flu shot, or kid's flu shot, is easy-peasy lemon-squeezy? Much easier than being 🤧, or caring for a 🤧 child.

3) Get it at a pharmacy while you are out shopping SNAP!! Just like that, it's done.

We will be hosting two MMR vaccine clinics in the coming weeks. More info to come - call 765-456-2408, option 1 for nursing, to verify you are up to date on your MMR vaccines. 2 doses are recommended for immunity from measles.

In addition to Adams County, a few cases each have been reported in Allen, DeKalb and LaGrange counties.
