The fireworks and events scheduled for the Fourth of July in Ravine Park have been cancelled due to impending inclement weather. Fireworks only have been re-scheduled for Saturday, July 6.

SNOW EMERGENCY beginning at 6:00 p.m. February 22 through 12:00 p.m. February 23. There is no parking on Village streets while snow plows are in operation. Vehicles will be ticketed by the Police Department if parked on the street during a snow emergency. You may park your vehicle on the street again once the snow emergency has expired.

Due to the weather on Monday, Waste Management contacted the Village Hall to inform us that garbage and recycling pickup will be delayed. Our regular pickup on Tuesday, 3/8, will be picked up on Wednesday, 3/9.

A snow emergency has been declared for Thursday noon until Friday 10:00 a. m. please have vehicles off the street so plows can clear snow more easily

Will you need an Absentee Ballot for the April 7th Presidential Preference Primary & Spring Election? Go to https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/ to request an absentee ballot. You will need to include a copy of your photo ID. The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot to be mailed to you is April 2.

December 6th will be the last day for leaf pickup, weather permitting. So please rake your leaves to the curb over the weekend or early in the week, Monday or Tuesday. Leaves should be raked into the street along the curb in 3-foot wide rows. NO GRASS CLIPPINGS, STICKS, OR OTHER GARDEN DEBRIS IS ALLOWED.

LEAF COLLECTION - Due to the challenging leaf collection conditions this year, the following policies are being employed:
-The Village will continue to use the leaf collector when conditions warrant. This requires thawed out leaves and minimal snow intrusion.
-The Village will attempt to use the leaf collector into December, weather permitting. Traditionally we use the leaf collector into the first week of December.
-When resources allow, frozen chunks of leaves will be shoveled into Village trucks. This non-standard practice is less efficient and more costly.
-Residents may use the yard waste containers to remove leaves. Yard waste pickup will continue up to December 3rd.
-We will modify collections and adjust as necessary as conditions warrant.

We are looking for an original full color photo (or artwork) for the cover of the directory. The photo should contain subject matter representing the Village of Kohler, such as a park or street scene. No selfies. No copyrighted material.

(300dpi), minimum size 5.5" wide
by 8.5" tall or 1725 pixels x 2550 pixels.
— name and age of photographer
— the date photo was taken and a brief description
of the subject matter

By submitting a photo you give the Village of Kohler permission to publish the photo and your name.

The winning photo will be selected in March.
