Tomorrow, May 12th 2026, Marion County - IA Sheriff's Office dispatch will be testing the storm siren in Attica.

The test will occur at 1PM.

We will have personnel in place to confirm if the siren is working properly.

Do not be alarmed as this is only a TEST.

Rise and shine—it’s breakfast time! 🍳🥞🥓

Head on over to the Melcher-Dallas Fire Department breakfast today from 7:00–11:00 AM and let them take care of the cooking (and the dishes 👀).

They’re flipping pancakes, cooking up the classics, and serving it all with a side of small-town hospitality. Honestly, it smells like a good decision already.

Good food, good people, and a great cause—hard to beat that combo. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to not make your own breakfast.
