On an early morning 3 months ago, I drove by the office of the Torres Law Firm on Wellington Rd in Knoxville and the line to get in was about a dozen deep. The line started at the front steps and extended back to the road. Torres specializes in "immigration law".

This morning at 8:20 a m, February 7, 2025, this is the scene outside the Torres Law Firm.

As my son has Duchenne muscular dystrophy, I have had the unpleasant experience over the years of becoming familiar with the Federal Drug Administration and its operations. It is an overly bureaucratic agency, mostly controlled my big pharma, to the expensive detriment of U.S. citizens who desperately need that new drug or service to treat a condition/disease affecting them.

To ignite real and significant change at the FDA, via RFK Jr, I urge you to vote for Donald J Trump tomorrow as our president.

Ford Motor Co. plans to shut down the Michigan factory that produces its F-150 Lightning plug-in pickup truck, its signature electric vehicle, through the end of the year as demand for EVs continues to wane.
