What a great day we had with Fire Santa and all the kiddos, plus to top off our day, an amazing Christmas Parade. The Norris Fire Department would like to say a huge thank you to the Norris Elementary School, and the Norris Middle School, as well as all the private donors who gave monetarily and dropped off toys, we could not have completed this event without you. Also, thank you to Scott Hackler Photography for the amazing pictures.

Fire Santa Route:
The firefighter elves at the “Norris Pole” are very busy packing Santa’s sleigh with toys getting ready for tomorrow’s big day. Santa will start in the W. and E. Circle Road areas at approximately 9:45a.m. tomorrow morning. Santa will be in the Pine, Crescent, Dale, Dogwood, Orchard Road, Sawmill Road areas. Then it's onto Oak, Garden, Ridgeway, West Norris, and CCC Camp Roads. After that, Hilltop, Chestnut Commons are next on his list, followed by Deer Ridge, Chestnut, Butternut, and the Hickory Trail, Hickory Place, Hawthorne Road areas. Santa will continue back to Deer Ridge, Reservoir, Reservoir Hill Road, Dairy Pond, Laurel Place, and to finish out his Journey of Joy will be the remainder of E. Norris Road.
Santa says not to fret if he didn't name your street, but rest assured he will visit every street in Norris. Hopefully this will give everyone a rough idea of Santa's plan. The weather appears to be cool but clear. Sleep well kiddos, Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

Help us support NVFD and NPD as we collect toys for their annual Fire Santa event. Send a new, unwrapped toy with your student and have them turn it into the front office in the mornings. Each toy donated by a student will earn them free admission to the next home basketball game (we have 2 this week!). We love our firefighters and police officers and want to support them any way we can.

Thank you, Andersonville Volunteer Fire Department and Chief Carden for hosting and inviting the Norris Fire Department to the Vehicle Extrication certification course at your fire station. Our firefighters gained extensive knowledge during this course that will better equip them in the future if the need for vehicle extrication presents itself.
Thanks again,
Rick Roach
Norris Fire Chief
