Kat Abughazaleh just narrowly lost the primary.

This loss takes nothing away from the trailblazing campaign Kat ran that put the people at the center of every part of this race — truly inspiring for us all.

And tonight is still a MASSIVE loss for AIPAC, who spent over $7 million to come in 3rd place.

Kat's campaign was an inspiration to millions of young people & people disillusioned with our politics that reminded them: they do deserve better from their leaders.

Though Kat narrowly lost, we're proud to have backed the campaign that ensured wouldn't be bought by AIPAC.

This massive loss for AIPAC is just the beginning as they lose more & more influence within the Democratic Party.

No amount of shell PACs or covert funding can hide their toxicity from Democratic voters, their monopoly over this Party’s foreign policy agenda is coming to an end.

AIPAC, Crypto, & AI combined forces to spend over $6 million to narrowly defeat Junaid Ahmed in .

Melissa Bean could not have won without their millions whitewashing her right-wing record in Congress.

Junaid's the fighter deserves, but our democracy is under attack.

This loss is a blow to our democracy & a failure of the Democratic establishment that's allowed lobbies like AIPAC, Crypto, & AI to buy our elections.

Their money allowed an anti-immigrant, pro-Iraq War, Bush tax cut-extending, ICE-funding, Wall Street shill to deceive voters.

That level of spending is not a strength — it’s a weakness.

Tonight we lost, but the corporate establishment has to pull out every stop to even have a chance of winning races this cycle — and that’s a signal of our movement’s power and we have a lot of fights left in us.

Working people have a new champion for freedom and justice in Texas.

We couldn't be prouder that he's joining our team of fighters to build power for working people in Congress.
