The 241st Engineering Installation Squadron, a Chattanooga-based unit of the 134th Air Refueling Wing, took its expertise to Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, for annual training. There, Airmen installed fiber-optic capabilities and partnered with the 214th EIS to map underground infrastructure, strengthening skills, partnerships and mission readiness.

The 134th Air Refueling Wing is proud to serve alongside our Tennessee National Guard teammates and community partners who embody the Volunteer State’s spirit of service.

During a medical evacuation, or MEDEVAC, exercise in Townsend, Tennessee, Soldiers and UH-60 Black Hawk crews worked with local agencies to strengthen emergency response capabilities while transporting simulated patients through challenging terrain to Covenant Health Morristown-Hamblen Hospital.

Participating agencies included the Blount County Rescue Squad, AMR Blount County, Townsend Area Volunteer Fire Department, National Park Service Backcountry Urban Search and Rescue team and Townsend Police Department. Together, they strengthened coordination and interoperability for critical situations.

Whether in the air, on the ground or behind the scenes, it takes a statewide team to remain ready when Tennessee and our nation call.

The 134th Air Refueling Wing joins communities across East Tennessee and around the world in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton.
A proud daughter of the Smoky Mountains, Dolly never forgot where she came from. Through the Dollywood Foundation, the Imagination Library, scholarships and assistance to families affected by the 2016 wildfires, she transformed her love for East Tennessee into a lifetime of service. Her generosity opened doors for children, strengthened families and brought hope to neighbors during their most difficult moments.
Dolly’s voice reached the world, but her heart always remained here at home. Her extraordinary legacy of compassion, faith and service will continue to inspire generations.
Our thoughts are with her family, friends and all who were touched by her life.

Ready. Trained. Lethal.

Airmen from the 134th Security Forces Squadron recently put their skills to the test during M240B machine gun and crew-served weapons training at an East Tennessee range.

The training sharpened proficiency, teamwork, and the ability to deliver disciplined, sustained firepower when the mission demands it.
