Bats do not chew their way into buildings but can squeeze through a hole as small as a dime! Keep bats out of your home by fixing torn window screens, broken siding, loose shingles, missing or broken chimney caps, and fill any holes around your home that lead outside. Use this guide from ISU to help keep bats out of your house.

💚 988 DAY | SU***DE AWARENESS 💚

Today, September 8, we recognize 988 Day and Su***de Awareness Month—a reminder that sometimes the people who need help the most are the ones who may never say it out loud.

If you’re struggling, overwhelmed, or simply having a hard time getting through the day, you don’t have to face it alone. Reaching out is not a weakness. It’s a courageous first step.

📞 Call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.
💬 You can also chat with a trained crisis counselor through the 988 Lifeline.

And for the rest of us—check on your people. Send the text. Make the call. Sit with someone. Ask, “Are you really okay?” Sometimes knowing someone cares can make all the difference.

You matter. Your life matters. There is help, there is hope, and you are not alone. 💚
