๐ŸŒฑ PARTNER SHOUTOUT ๐ŸŒฑ

Big news! ๐ŸŽ‰ The Ray & Kay Eckstein Charitable Trust has renewed its support of Catholic Charities of East Tennessee (CCETN) with a two-year grant for Samaritan Place!

Samaritan Place is a 52-bed shelter for adults aged 60 and older experiencing homelessness in Knoxville, and one of the only resources in East Tennessee designed specifically for their needs. This past year, CCETN welcomed more than 100 seniors and served over 40,000 meals, while case managers worked alongside each resident to address barriers to stability and secure permanent housing.

A multi-year investment like this does more than sustains daily operations. It gives a dedicated team the stability to keep showing up for some of the most vulnerable members of their community, and it affirms that everyone deserves to age with dignity.

Thank you to the Ray & Kay Eckstein Charitable Trust for standing with this work and to Resonant Strategies for your hand in this process!

For more information about our Samaritan Place program, call 865-684-1880 or visit ccetn.org to learn more.

Thank you to everyone who came out and showed love at our Creators of Hope - Knoxville Annual fundraiser!

It was an unforgettable evening. Weโ€™re so grateful for everyone who came out to support and make the night meaningful.

A special thank you to our partners, supporters, and community for coming together in support of an important cause.

Your kindness and generosity is what makes YOU the real creators of hope.

โœ CATHOLIC SOCIAL TEACHING โœ
The principle of Call to Family, Community, and Participation teaches us the importance of supporting one another, building relationships, and creating communities where everyone has the opportunity to belong and contribute.

Each day, we live out this principle by supporting families, serving others with dignity and compassion, and strengthening our communities through our work.

Together, we help create places where individuals and families feel supported, valued, and connected. โค

๐ŸคDONOR SHOUTOUT๐Ÿค
A huge thank you to Pattersons Appliance today for their generous donation to support our mission at Catholic Charities of East TN!

Pattersons donated a 20cf freezer to our Crazy Quilt Appalachian Outreach Program, an emergency assistance and food pantry program located in Newcomb, TN.

Crazy Quilt has served the rural Appalachian region for nearly 50 years, offering regular food boxes, child supplies, and seasonal support.

Itโ€™s generosity like theirs that fuels our mission and helps turn goals into reality.

Thank you for your investment into our work that supports our neighbors in need! ๐ŸŽ‰Every little bit adds up to make a huge difference.

Photographed from left to right is Betty Ashton, our program manager at Crazy Quilt and a volunteer (her husband).
