Big news! ๐ The Ray & Kay Eckstein Charitable Trust has renewed its support of Catholic Charities of East Tennessee (CCETN) with a two-year grant for Samaritan Place!
Samaritan Place is a 52-bed shelter for adults aged 60 and older experiencing homelessness in Knoxville, and one of the only resources in East Tennessee designed specifically for their needs. This past year, CCETN welcomed more than 100 seniors and served over 40,000 meals, while case managers worked alongside each resident to address barriers to stability and secure permanent housing.
A multi-year investment like this does more than sustains daily operations. It gives a dedicated team the stability to keep showing up for some of the most vulnerable members of their community, and it affirms that everyone deserves to age with dignity.
Thank you to the Ray & Kay Eckstein Charitable Trust for standing with this work and to Resonant Strategies for your hand in this process!
