We are getting around the county as quickly as possible. If you see any issues regarding hazards in the roadway please call our department. Below you will find a list of roads still closed due to flooding and/or washed out roadways.

We wanted to give you an update regarding our work throughout the county. Tuesday when the storms came through around lunchtime we have over 70 tree calls that we worked on until 11:00 PM that night. The remainder of the week we have still been cleaning up trees and debris throughout the county. All of our employees have been working over 12 hour days to try and get the roads open for the residents of our county. There are many roads closed due to flooding and electric wires down on the road and in trees. We are not able to complete our tree removal until the electric company has cleared the wires and we understand they are just as busy as we have been this week. We would like to thank the Starke County Sheriff Dispatchers, Starke County Sheriff Officers, our Local Fire Departments, and many citizens that have helped us clear trees and debris. Please use extreme caution when traveling throughout the county. With the amount of rain we have had there is a lot going on with the infrastructure system of the county and we are working diligently to catch everything we can.
