IAPSS Press Release: Knox Superintendent Greg Mikulich was recently sworn in as District 1 Representative for Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents. He will represent Knox Community School Corporation at the state level. This is one of eight positions across the state and he will also be on the executive committee for IAPSS. Congratulations to Mr. Mikulich and the Knox Schools!

SCYC currently operates before and afterschool programs, summer learning opportunities, enrichment experiences, family engagement activities, and youth leadership programs. The Early Learning Initiative represents a natural extension of SCYC's mission.

The 2026 State Summer Games were held in Terre Haute this past weekend.

Connor, Conner, and Donald competed alongside thousands of athletes from across the state of Indiana at the largest Special Olympics event in Indiana. They proudly represented Special Olympics Indiana Marshall & Starke County while showing determination, sportsmanship, and the true meaning of “Stronger Together.”

Connor P competed in swimming events and earned:
🥈 Silver – Men’s 25m Freestyle
🥉 Bronze – Men’s 50m Freestyle
🥇 1st place – Relay

Conner M competed in Ramp Bowling and earned:
🏅 4th place – Ramp Bowling

Donald S competed in track & field events and earned:
🥈 2nd place – 50m Dash
🏅 7th place – Softball Throw
🏅 6th place – Standing Long Jump

All three athletes had an incredible weekend competing at the state level, making memories, and representing Knox Community Schools and Special Olympics Indiana Marshall & Starke County with pride!

We are excited to honor the class of 2026 tonight!

We want to keep everyone updated on our graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026. Please be aware that the ceremony has changed locations to Weinberg Gym, due to the weather.

Event Details
Time: 7:00 pm sharp
Location: Weinberg Gym
Entrance:
Door 4 - Southside Gym Hallway
Door 5 - Southside Crosswalk Entrance
Door 13 - Northside Parking lot
Door 2 - Handicap Entrance on Main Street Only
Parking:
Northside - One lot closed due to construction
- Parking lot by Door 13 is open
Eastside - Handicap parking - Middle School lane
Enter Door 2 before 6:50.
-Street parking - Please be courteous to our
neighbors
Southside - Main parking is the MS lot by library
- Overflow parking in administration lot by
elementary
- We will have a shuttle from admin building,
Door 1A to MS Door 13.
Westside - Small gravel parking lot

After the Ceremony
Pictures can be taken in Weinberg Gym, Middle School
cafeteria or hallway by Door 2.

Knox Community High School 2026 Graduation Ceremony

Knox Families,
With tomorrow's festivities in mind, we have been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast. As luck would have it, the forecast seems to be changing by the hour, with thunderstorms becoming more likely during the afternoon and early evening.
To ensure we have adequate time to prepare and can celebrate our graduates without weather concerns, we have made the decision to move graduation to Weinberg.
The doors to Weinberg will still open at 6:00 p.m., and the graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.
All graduating seniors should report to the KMS gym no later than 5:45 p.m. for photos and to line up for the ceremony. All seniors need to park at KHS next to Door 12H walk over to the KMS.

Rehearsal will also be at Weinberg. Seniors should please report at 8:45am.

We are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2026 and look forward to recognizing all of their hard work tomorrow evening!
