All Town offices will be closed Friday, June 19th, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth. Offices will reopen on Monday, June 22nd, at 8 am. Emergency police and fire services may be reached by calling 9-1-1.

Trash and recycling services will be normal during the week of Juneteenth.

Hey ! Our Fourth on First Avenue celebration is happening in just a few weeks! Bring the family out and decorate your bicycles in red, white and blue for our Bike Parade! See the details on the flyer below, as well as the parade map. Come early because The Wake County Safe Routes to School organization is going to provide a limited supply of kids helmets to give out at the bike parade to those who need them, AND they'll be giving away bike lights! This event is free, but registration is required. We hope to see the ENTIRE FAMILY out at Knightdale Station Park on Saturday, July 4th, from 9 am - 1 pm!

We're so disappointed the weather didn't hold out for all we had planned for today's African American Festival, but we're grateful that Elle came out to give the crowd a little "Refill" before the heavy rains came. Thanks to EVERYONE who came out to enjoy the day with us, all of the performers, and all the staff who worked hard to make this day happen. We hope you enjoyed coming together to celebrate culture and community.
