Building begun in 1988 for the neighborhood that sits atop a previous 362 acre plantation from the 1700's. The Midway Plantation shopping center built in 2005 features Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, and many more retail choices within walking distance. Duke Medical Center and Rex Health arrived in 2007 to join the childcare facility, veterinary hospital and the dental offices that provide quality and convenience to the Knightdale residents.
