Grow as a leader and share your voice! Apply to become a State Project Ambassador.

4-H'ers who are currently 4-H age 13-17 are invited to apply to become SPAs! SPAs work alongside the specialists of our state program teams - animal science; environmental science; shooting sports, and camping; healthy living; expressive arts; leadership and civic engagement; and STEM.

In the SPA role, you will provide a youth prospective to project teams and events, further develop your leadership skills, and grow your passions and networks within your project area.

Applications are due by July 31 via ZSuite record book.

There's only a few days left to register for 4‑H Grill It Up Tuesdays!

This four‑week virtual series builds confidence in outdoor cooking, leading up to a special in‑person cookout finale later in the summer. This program is open to 4‑H youth ages 8–18 and will be held on July 7, 14, 21, and 28.

Participants will learn the foundations of outdoor cooking while keeping safety, nutrition, and creativity front and center. Each week, participants will prepare one recipe at home with adult supervision, using a variety of outdoor cooking methods.

Have you met our National 4-H Conference delegates? Today, we're introducing Madison Cousins of Armstrong County. Madison has been a 4-H member for 6 years and is involved in projects like leadership, shooting sports, lambs, pigs, and rabbits.

At conference, her roundtable group presented to the USDA Forest Service and recommended improving social media, infrastructure, and teen programs.

Madison enjoyed meeting new people and making friends, as well as exploring Arlington and D.C. She added, "It was honestly an amazing experience and I will use all the people skills in the future."
