“Today marks 10 years since the tragic shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, where 49 innocent lives were taken and dozens more were injured.

As we remember the victims, we also honor the survivors, families, first responders, and all those whose lives were forever changed on that heartbreaking day. Pulse remains a solemn reminder of the importance of unity, compassion, and standing against hatred in all its forms.

Ten years later, we continue to carry the memories of those we lost and reaffirm our commitment to building communities where every person feels safe, valued, and respected.

May we never forget the 49 angels taken too soon.

I’m proud to officially qualify for reelection to the Florida House of Representatives, serving House District 46.

Representing the people of Osceola County has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Together, we have worked to strengthen our communities, support our families, invest in education and infrastructure, and keep our neighborhoods safe.

While there is still much work to be done, I remain committed to fighting for the priorities that matter most to the residents of House District 46.

I am honored to have been recognized today by the Fraternal Order of Police with the Champion for Law Enforcement Award.

Supporting the men and women who put on the badge every day to protect our communities is a responsibility I take seriously. I am grateful for the opportunity to speak with members of the FOP and discuss the importance of public safety, strong partnerships, and ensuring our law enforcement officers have the resources they need to serve effectively.

🇺🇸 Remembering D-Day | June 6, 1944

Today, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve of the Allied forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day 82 years ago.

Thousands of brave servicemembers faced unimaginable danger in defense of freedom, changing the course of history and helping secure liberty for future generations.

As we remember those who gave their lives and those who returned home carrying the burdens of war, we reaffirm our gratitude for all who have worn our nation’s uniform in service to others.

May we never forget their sacrifice, their heroism, and the enduring legacy they left behind.

I was saddened to learn of Mayor Jerry Demings diagnosis. Mayor Demings has dedicated his entire career to public service, and I have been honored to share a longstanding friendship and working relationship with him through many years of serving the people of Central Florida.

During this difficult time, please join me in keeping Mayor Demings, Congresswoman Val Demings, and their family in your thoughts and prayers. We stand with our friend and wish him strength, healing, and a full recovery.

Today the Florida Legislature voted to put a misleading and rushed amendment on the ballot promising to lower Property Taxes. This amendment will crush our local governments and will not provide relief, but shift the tax burden onto renters, small businesses, and everyone is the checkout line. I spoke against this amendment and pleaded for my colleagues to consider addressing the real issues that are making this state unfordable.

This proposal now moves to the ballot in November after a 75-26 floor vote in the House, and must pass with 60% of the vote to become a permanent amendment to the State Constitution.
