I’m proud to announce that I have earned the endorsement of the Florida State Council of Machinists Political Committee, International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers (IAM)!

The hardworking men and women of the Machinists union help keep Florida moving, building, and growing. I’m honored to have their support and proud to stand alongside working families across our state.

In Tallahassee, I will continue fighting for fair wages, safe workplaces, collective bargaining rights, workforce development, and a strong manufacturing economy that creates good-paying jobs and opportunities for Floridians.

Thank you to the Florida State Council of Machinists for your confidence and support. Together, we’ll keep working toward a stronger future for District 46 and all of Florida. 🇺🇸⚙️

Good jobs. Strong communities. A stronger Florida.

🏡 WHERE YOUR PROPERTY TAX DOLLARS GO

Property taxes help local governments fund many of the essential services that keep our communities safe, clean, and functioning every day.

🚒 First Responders
Supporting firefighters, emergency response, law enforcement, and other public-safety services.

🌳 Parks & Recreation
Maintaining community parks, playgrounds, recreational facilities, trails, and public spaces for families to enjoy.

🚧 Roads & Public Works
Repairing potholes, maintaining local roads and infrastructure, managing drainage, and keeping our neighborhoods moving.

🗑️ Neighborhood Services
Depending on the local government and how services are funded, property-tax revenues can support sanitation, waste-related services, code enforcement, and other community operations.

📚 Schools & Community Services
Property taxes are also an important source of local funding for public schools, libraries, and other services residents rely on.

Property taxes aren’t just numbers on a bill. They are one of the ways we collectively invest in the services and infrastructure that make our communities places where families can live, work, and thrive.

As your State Representative, I believe Floridians deserve accountability, transparency, and responsible stewardship of every taxpayer dollar.

Strong communities require strong services, and taxpayers deserve to know where their money goes.

As Rosh Hashanah began yesterday at sundown, I extend my warmest wishes to our Jewish neighbors in District 46, across Florida, and around the United States as they welcome the Jewish New Year.

Rosh Hashanah is a sacred time for reflection, renewal, prayer, and hope. May this new year bring peace to our communities, strength to our families, and the promise of brighter days ahead.

At a time when antisemitism continues to threaten Jewish communities here at home and around the world, may we also recommit ourselves to standing against hatred in all its forms and ensuring every person can practice their faith safely and proudly.

To all who are celebrating, may you and your loved ones be blessed with a sweet, healthy, peaceful, and prosperous new year.

Today, we mark 25 years since September 11, 2001, a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken that day. We honor the firefighters, law enforcement officers, first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who ran toward danger to save others. And we stand with the families and survivors who have carried the weight of that day for a quarter century.

We must also remember that the toll of September 11 did not end when the smoke cleared. In the years since, thousands of first responders, recovery and cleanup workers, survivors, residents, and others exposed to the toxic dust and debris at Ground Zero have developed cancers, respiratory diseases, and other serious 9/11-related illnesses. Many have since lost their lives to those conditions, and many more continue their fight today.

Their sacrifice is part of the story of September 11, too. To truly Never Forget means remembering those we lost that morning, those we have lost in the years since, and those still living with its consequences today.

Twenty-five years later, may we continue to honor them through remembrance, service, compassion, and an enduring commitment to care for those who answered the call.

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Happy Labor Day!
Today we give thanks to all our hard working Men and Women and we also give thanks to all Union Members. Let's raise the minimum wage towards a living wage, restore unemployment insurance, and pass common-sense policies like paid sick leave and affordable childcare…

🚒🔥 SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL FIREFIGHTER APPRECIATION MONTH 🔥🚒

This September, we proudly recognize the brave firefighters and first responders who answer the call when our communities need them most.

From responding to fires and medical emergencies to hurricanes, vehicle crashes, and other emergencies, these dedicated men and women put service before self every single day.

Here in Osceola County and across Florida, our firefighters spend countless hours training, preparing, and serving so that when the alarm sounds, they’re ready.

To every firefighter, dispatcher, emergency responder, and the families who support them: thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and commitment to keeping our communities safe. ❤️‍🔥🇺🇸

This month and every month, we are grateful for your service.

🥫💚 Today is National Food Bank Day!

Across Osceola County and throughout Central Florida, food banks, local pantries, volunteers, and community organizations work every day to make sure our neighbors have access to nutritious food.

Food insecurity can affect anyone, including working families, children, seniors, and veterans.

Today is an opportunity not only to thank those fighting hunger, but also to remind our community that if you need help putting food on the table, resources are available.

One of our region’s largest resources is Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, which serves Osceola County through a network of community partners.

Their Food Finder can help residents locate food assistance close to home.
🔗 Find food near you through Second Harvest at https://feedhopenow.org

Other Osceola County resources include:
1) Church & Community Assistance Program in Kissimmee -

2) Osceola Council on Aging - Food Distribution Center -

3) Catholic Charities Central Florida in Kissimmee -

Osceola County also maintains information directing residents to local food pantry services:🔗 Visit Osceola County Housing & Community Services site here:

Whether you donate, volunteer, share these resources, or simply help connect a neighbor with assistance, every action matters.

No one in our community should have to wonder where their next meal will come from. When we look out for one another, Osceola County is stronger. 💚

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. 💙🎗️

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men during their lifetime, but early detection can make a lifesaving difference. This month, we encourage the men in our families and communities to speak with their healthcare providers, understand their risk factors, and stay up to date on recommended screenings.

We also stand with the survivors, families, caregivers, and advocates whose strength continues to inspire greater awareness and progress.

Together, we can start conversations, encourage early detection, and help save lives. 💙🎗️
