If you’re a U.S. citizen living abroad or a member of the uniformed services, you’ll need to complete the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to vote from overseas. The FPCA lets you register to vote, update your information, and request an absentee ballot—all in one form.
The FPCA is available to eligible overseas U.S. citizens and members of the U.S. Armed Forces, Merchant Marine, and NOAA. You can get the form from a voting assistance officer on a military base, at any U.S. Embassy or Consulate, or directly from the Supervisor of Elections.
📅 Just remember: your completed FPCA must be received by your Supervisor of Elections at least 29 days before the election to ensure you're registered to vote.
