This month’s SNAP activity was a visit to the Aquatic Center! Our ADT participants had a wonderful time swimming, splashing and cooling off together. A special thank-you to the City of Kissimmee Parks & Recreation Department for making this fun experience possible for our participants!

Staying active and having fun! Our senior ADT participants enjoyed another great Sit & Be Fit exercise session today. It’s always wonderful to see everyone moving, smiling, and having a good time together!

We kicked off the Labor Day weekend with a cookout and some water fun at ADT! Everyone enjoyed good food, time with friends and a chance to cool off. It was a great afternoon filled with lots of smiles and laughter!

We are so proud of our participants for being recognized by WESH 2 News as Community Champions! Through their volunteer work, they give their time, talents and hearts to help make our community a better place. This recognition celebrates their dedication, generosity and the meaningful difference they make in the lives of others. We are honored to support them as they give back to the community.

The Opportunity Center helps more than 130 Central Florida adults with disabilities find work, independence and purpose.

This week several of our ADT participants had the opportunity participate in a new program with Love Makes Me Grow, whose mission is to teach diverse communities the value and importance of living off the land. They promote and develop the social and economic growth of the individual, regardless of limitations and barriers. We are looking forward to continuing to participate in this exciting new program!

It was another busy week at the ADT! Participants enjoyed cooking class, spending time with friends in the game room, and taking part in the Library for All and Senior Exercise programs. These are just a few of the many activities that kept everyone learning, connecting, and having fun throughout the week!

We celebrated all of our ADT participants with August birthdays! Everyone joined in the celebration and enjoyed a piece of cake as we wished our August birthday group a very happy birthday and a wonderful year ahead!

Last week, our ADT participants had a great time singing some of their favorite songs during karaoke. Whether they were performing, dancing along, or cheering for their friends, everyone joined in on the fun and let their inner superstar shine!
