Subgroup work well underway and our subgroup leaders and co-leaders are A M A Z I N G! Wonderful seeing so many dedicated public and private sector professionals dedicating their time and energy to this critical initiative for our 9-1-1 profession

Had in interesting thought as I was reading this article.

In the same way 9-1-1 professionals have evolved into incredible listeners, will the introduction of Incident Related Imagery into the PSAP/ECC create a similar situation when it comes to viewing incident scenes? Can we expect our Emergency Call Takers and Dispatchers to develop abilities which make them equally aware of what's going on during the report of an emergency from a visual standpoint? How do we best train our personnel for this level of awareness?

The rise of conflict imagery on social media has provided open source researchers valuable material to identify explosive ordnance. However, this has also increased the risk of misinformation and disinformation surrounding weapons use.
