On June 9th, 2026, four individuals, two of whom were juveniles, were found unlawfully on a construction site operating heavy machinery. The Osceola County STAR Aviation team quickly responded and guided deputies to these individuals.

If you're looking for a shortcut to a felony charge, trespassing on a construction site and operating equipment that doesn't belong to you is one way to find it.

This incident also serves as an important reminder for parents and guardians, know where your children are, who they are with, and what activities they are involved in. A single poor decision can have lasting consequences.

OCSO Adventure Camp 2026 is packed with fun and adventure!

Another great group of campers enjoyed a week filled with exciting activities, new experiences, and time spent learning alongside our School Resource Officers.

From hands on activities to teamwork and new friendships, these young adventurers made the most of their time at camp. Here they are posing in front of the OCSO bus with plenty of smiles and enthusiasm.

Thank you to the parents and guardians for trusting us with your children. We hope they leave camp with great memories and experiences that will stay with them long after the week is over.

🚧 TRAFFIC UPDATE: NEPTUNE ROAD LANE CLOSURE 🚧

Motorists should be aware of an upcoming temporary lane closure on Neptune Road as part of the ongoing roadway improvement project.

Beginning Monday, June 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., crews will be installing drainage infrastructure on the eastbound lanes of Neptune Road, approximately 300 feet east of Tohoqua Boulevard and extending toward the Florida Turnpike Bridge.

Flaggers will be on site directing traffic through the work zone. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, follow posted signage, and remain alert for changing traffic patterns.

Residents near the project area may experience temporary noise, vibration, and dust during construction activities.

Please use caution when traveling through the area and be aware of workers and equipment in the roadway. Construction schedules may change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

For additional information, contact the project hotline at 407-710-0050 or email [email protected].

Making a difference takes teamwork, and this morning our deputies were proud to join Northbridge University - Kissimmee and Executive Director Martin Levert for an Adopt-A-Highway cleanup along E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway (U.S. 192) and Orange Blossom Trail.

While helping ensure the safety of volunteers working alongside this busy corridor, our deputies also jumped in to help collect litter and improve the appearance of the area. Together, we worked to create a cleaner, more welcoming environment for everyone who lives, works, and visits our community.

A special thank you to the Northbridge University team for their dedication to community service and environmental stewardship. Partnerships like these demonstrate the positive impact we can make when we come together for a common purpose.
