Protestant Parish Coordinator (PPC) Contract

The Kirtland AFB Chapel is seeking a contractor to act as the Protestant Parish Coordinator. Interested individuals must have two years of experience working in a chapel, church, or ministry organization. The Protestant Parish Coordinator will perform administrative tasks, coordinate volunteers, manage children’s check ins and Sunday School curriculum, and be responsible for the overall organization of the Protestant Parish. The contract is set for 20 hours per week with duties on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.

This is a Best Value Contract, and potential contractors must be able to pass a background check IAW DODI 1402.5.
Interested parties may obtain a bid document packet Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, from the Kirtland AFB Chapel at 1950 2nd St SE, Albuquerque, NM 87116. Packets are available until 7 April 2026 at 4:00 PM.

Final bids for the contract must be submitted in person at the Chapel no later than 8 April 2026, at 3:00 PM. Interviews will be conducted Thursday 9 April 2026 and Friday 10 April 2026, from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM each day. Public bid opening is Friday 10 April 2026 at 4:00 PM. The tentative contract start date is 14 April 2026.

Early Childhood Ministry Coordinator Contract

The Kirtland AFB Chapel is seeking five (5) contractors to perform Children’s Ministry. Interested individuals must be 18 years of age and have expertise working with children. The Early Childhood Ministry Coordinator (ECMC) will provide children’s ministry during Chapel services and events. This is a Best Value Contract and potential contractors must be able to pass a background check IAW DODI 1402.5.

Interested parties may obtain a bid document packet Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, from the Kirtland AFB Chapel at 1950 2nd St SE, Kirtland AFB, NM 87117. You may also email [email protected]. Packets will be available for pick-up December 5, 2025 until December 19, 2025.
