Northeast Missouri Senior Citizens Services Inc Enabling seniors to maintain their independence and remain in their homes, minimizing the need for institutional care.

NEMO Senior Citizens Services, Inc.(NEMO SCS) is non-profit organization established in 1973 that provides vital services for seniors and persons with disabilities throughout northeast Missouri. Services include our meals program that provides nutritional hot meals in congregate settings located at Village '76 and Fjeld Arms Apartments in Kirksville, as well home home-delivered meals for those co

nsidered home bound. Additionally, NEMO SCS's In-Home Services and Respite programs provide needed help with a variety of tasks that include cleaning, cooking and completing activities of daily living.

TODAY JUNE 9, The Commissioners will be at the nutrition site to clarify some of the qualifications for SB 190 senior tax credit. They have had a lot of questions from the public. Do I make too much money? Does my house have to be paid for? Neither of these have any bearing on eligibility.
Update on the SB 190 senior tax credit.

They will be here from 10:30 AM -1PM. The Commissioners will assist people in filling out their applications for the senior tax credit.
