Kinnelon is a borough in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 10,248,[7][8][9] reflecting an increase of 883 (+9.4%) from the 9,365 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 895 (+10.6%) from the 8,470 counted in the 1990 Census.[18] It is

a low-density, suburban community, with many parks and trails. Kinnelon was formed as a borough by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 20, 1922, from portions of Pequannock Township, based on the results of a referendum passed on March 21, 1922.[19] The borough's name comes from Francis S. Kinney, who purchased 5,000 acres (20 km2) of land in the 1880s for an estate that included Lake Kinnelon, and built St.

Kinnelon Recreation is excited to officially announce a new program for all ages: Golden Hour Yoga on the town green this summer.

Join us Tuesday evenings for an outdoor yoga series designed to help you slow down, move intentionally, and reconnect with yourself, the beautiful nature around us, and our community.

When: Tuesdays • 7:30–8:30 PM
8 Week Series: June 16 – August 4
Where: On the Green at Kinnelon Borough Hall

Looking for a fun way to get your child involved in hockey? Join us for the Kinnelon Youth Hockey Open House on Wednesday, June 10th from 6–8 PM at Stonybrook Elementary School! Kids will have the chance to play ball hockey, meet coaches and board members, and learn more about our program in a fun and welcoming environment. No experience necessary — all skill levels are welcome! Bring sneakers, energy, and a friend!
