Here we go again

Snow is on the way. The second best thing you can do is stay off the roads. It helps our DPW do their job more easily. It reserves police, fire and EMS resources as well.

The best thing you can do is be ready.
Some easy things to do now:
Visit your local gas station and fill up and have gas ready if you have a snow blower
Get some extra food
Make sure your prescriptions are filled
Charge your phone
Have batteries, flashlights and candles ready
Have warm clothes and blankets easily accessible
Keep your children properly covered if they go outside
Check on your neighbors and the elderly

Some models are predicting 8-12“ in our neighborhood.
Friendly advice:
Shovel/plow your driveway early and often. Don’t let a foot of wet snow pile up
If you feel tired, faint, dizzy stop shoveling.

Finally- The Borough Hall remains a warming station. If need be, contact the police directly for after hours help.
