Kleberg County Adult Literacy Council had a wonderful first day back to class with our English language learners! We love seeing our returning students and we are excited about having new faces in class today too! The Kleberg County Adult Literacy Council attended the Navy League and Military combined community dinner honoring Dick Messbarger for his decades of support for the Navy League, NAS-Kingsville, Kingsville Chamber of Commerce and support to the Kingsville community in general. We were fortunate to have guest speaker Kathy Kline, sixth generation King Ranch family member, there to celebrate the second anniversary of the USS Kingsville. KCALC attended as a Gold Sponsor. It was nice to network with all of the local volunteers, community organizations and military personnel, as well as getting to visit with Kathy Kline. Great job Navy League. Dick was smiling big time! He loved Kingsville!
